I'm looking for new things to do with my car........ I don't have much money, though. I'm doing things one-at-a-time.........because I have no choice. Things I've already got are the injen intake with greddy type s BOV, wires, plugs, and cat back exhaust. I was thinking about a mbc but I don't really know much about them and I've heard that if you don't know how to use them or measure boost, you can blow up your engine. My car is a daily driver and I'm just trying to make it one of the faster cars on the road........not the fastest.:thumb:

Any input will definitely be taken into consideration. If you'd like to make suggestions for specific items, please tell me what they are. Thanks for your help FELLAS!:dsm:

One question...........do those grounding wire kits actually do anything????

u stated that u have a type s bov, but are u running it with the stock uicp? if so, get an aftermarket uicp.

get a symborski shift kit if u havent already. it'll help direct shifts better.

finish ur exhaust system, since u live in cali, you'll be safer getting a high flow cat which isnt cheap. to top it off, get a downpipe. depending on wat size piping you want is up to you. a 3" would be nice if u have future plans to upgrade more. a 2.5" will be good for low 13's at least.

if u are thinking about running a mbc, you'll need a boost guage. its not hard to adjust a mbc. it just consists of turning clockwise and counterclockwise to adjust the level of boost u want to run. if u decide to install one, dont go over 15psi with the t25. 1 bar = 14.7psi

for extra psi, remove ur bsc restrictor.

also clean ur smic ( which i actually did today)

I know you're all gonna call me a retard but that's okay......... gotta learn somehow...what's a uicp

On a limited budget:

rewire fuel pump (3 bucks in wire)
boost gauge (40 bucks or so)
block off the area of your engine bay with the filter so that it pulls in cLOLd air...this can not be stressed enough (10 bucks in stuff at home depot)

After you do this then you can look into a mbc.

yup, should have been the first thing u got. u never know when u might be running to much boost.

I haven't done anything serious to the engine. Is it even possible that I could be running too much?
