Use E3 spark plugs and a cold air intake will make the easiest and instant gains. If you are putting on a cold air intake, take the baffles out of the MAF (1-3 of them). You will by pass (theoretically) the ECU and trick into letting you add more air into the intake. You can also put in a bigger throttle body and bigger injectors. These are failry easy ugrades.

I was at an autox this summer where some guy came up to a friend and told him he should put some high performance spark plugs in his honda to make more power. The guy was completely serious when he said it. The guy knew nothing about cars though.

You can port your cylinder head then port match your intake and exhaust that will give you a slight gain, and adjustable fuel pressure regulator and turn it up JUST A TAD and upgrade your ignition system, some MSD coils and MSD wires but for a significant gain you can do higher compression pistons or a stroker kit, bigger valves, bigger cam but since you have turbo coming high compression is outa the question.

I'd save the cash for internal upgrades, you'll probably need once you turbo the car.
