Just need a little help!

All right I got a 95 RS. Some how i blew the ecu. So went to the junk yard found a 95 neon ( same block 420A) but it had a single cam. I have dohc. ecu fits and works but the car is running like sh*t. Its spitting out 12 44 and 53 error codes. the 53 is ecu faliure. And i cant afford a new or for that matter another ecu. Any one know what the problem is? Did i blow a few sensors too or does that ecu just not work with my car? The idle is jumping from like 100 to 1500 and stals alot now. the battery light is on all the time. Anything whould help because once again im totaly lost. Someone just help me get this running so i can sell it and get a gsx!!!! Thanks!

um.. whomever told you these engines / ECUs were the same should be strung up by his own scrotum.

I would recommend sourcing the correct ECU and returning the one you bought as there is really no other workaround.

All right well there are absoutly no 95 eclipse rs dohc around where i live for like 100 miles for so and i cant afford a new one. anyone know where i can get a cheap one?

Did you try the DSMTrader or Tuners Classifides?

If not try Gary at Mitsubishi Graveyard . He specializes in used parts for DSMs and has decent prices.
