Resolved Noise above 1400 RPM, timing belt walking….

Ok so I have a noise at from like 1400rpm on that sounds horrible. I pulled my top timing cover off and noticed my timing belt walking on my cam gears from front to back. Someone tell me its not crankwalk and what to check.

Tensioner bearing is my guess. Pull off the lower tbelt cover and check to make sure that the two holes that are on the side of it are above the bolt head.

Dude why first assume crankwalk? Crankwalk os over rated and pretty rare. Check your tensioner first. Then check the other timing components. Stop running that motor before you jump timing and bend your valves.

while your at it you might as well change your timing belt. im guessing that one side of the belt is getting chewed up most likely the side closest to the valve cover.

So it ended uo being the tensioner arm bushing was worn
