What brand were they? I have toplines that are doing the same.

Can't remember my brand but they are revised type abc they don't do this. Paid 63$ shipped back in 2011 for them off ebay. Quite as can be at 25k.

They are all version two save for a single one which is version 3.

Ok so is it possible for brand new 3g lifters to be bad? I just swapped out my lifters about 200 miles ago and while it is quiet at idle it has a horrible tick around 2500-3000k rpm sometimes so bad the knock sensor comes on?? How do I check to see if a lifter is good/bad? thanks in advance, and the lifters are TOPLINE?

Yes. Even brand new parts can fail. Look for a collapsed lifter.

Did you properly bleed them before installing?

Havent had time to replace mine..but it's been like that for months None were collapsed..for me
