1G No power to anything but the wipers.

I have a 91 talon. I'm in the middle of my awd swap. Swapping everything including harness and all. Everything worked before. I'm not getting any power to anything inside the car or any lighting outside. I am getting power to only the wipers and my gauges which are wired in with the fuse box. I encountered this plug under the dash that is not plugged into anything. Maybe that could be the problem?

One plug wouldn't stop power to everything but bad grounds will. Run a test light find where you lose power.

Well what gets me is half the fuses have power like windshield wipers but the other half don't. Don't they all run off the same ground for the fuse block to get power?

Yeah you have a chasey harness and engine harness with relays plus the ecu and under the hood/dash fuses . With swapping a harness so many things can be off and not get power. I would go over your grounds and look at a wiring diagram and follow it with a test light/voltage meter.

Did you connect the two harness parts together under the hood? Main fuse still good? Id def. recheck the grounds too.

Yes I did connect them and all fuses are good. It's probably a ground issue just don't know where to start . I figured headlights would work ### they are grounded right beside the headlight but still don't. Not sure why yet..

After more testing I found that I have power to everything at the fuse block under dash. I redid the grounds and cleaned them up but still nothing except the brake light, cel, and seatbelt icons on the dash when key is turned to accessory. When I turn the key to start the fuel pump runs also. (No motor in car till I get my build done. Just trying to get electrical problems out of the way.) any thoughts?

I have the exact same problem on my 90 awd... I have no electricity anywhere, no headlights, tail lights, dome lights, no dash lights, and the car doesnt even beep when I start the engine. I do have turn signals, radio and wipers though. I really hope someone comes up with a solution...
