okay, i took my head off after my timing belt jumped a couple tooths? after the first start it started making noises, felt like the pistons and valves hit each other, i then turned it off and tried to turn crank by hand. Wont budge. my reaction was that i need to check the valves. i took my head of again and got a leak test by pouring water on top, the leak was minor. by minor, as in, small droplets in 1 or 2 valves. the water on top stayed full. Is this strange?

also, posting a video soon, for proper evaluation thank you.

Try doing another fluid test now that the head is off again, also try to posted up a video or pictures because that would help us see what you are talking about.

bought new valves last week, seated them, and made sure no leaks, i tested it the first time, it had no leaks... so i went ahead and put the lifters on and the cams and camshafts so i can pre align the tdc mark to put back on my car. after i went ahead and removed everything again and check for leaks, all of them were leaking!?

i did this all on cardboard, and not even 5minutes prior to the first test, it leaked !?? mannn.

The second leak check was after you installed the HLAs, followers and cams?

If that is the case, the HLAs are just a touch pumped up.

does the HLA adjust itselfs as soon as the valves go down? so when everything installed, it will readjust back to no leaking? im not understanding the whole leak phsyics.. but anyways, is it okay to put my car back together. im pretty sure nothing got bent because it wasnt even five minutes since the first check.

You said you installed new valves.

Has the head had a valve job?

Did you check the valve tip height?

i havent checked the valve tip, but i lapped everything no leaks, i remember every valve did not leak because i had to lapp the ones that leaked and it took me over two days to get them all to not leak, so thats how i know that each is lapped properly, now when i installed the stupid camshafts and everything, it just happened to ruin it... but anyways, the valve tip, whats the specs on it?
