Ok I was driving down the road going 30 mph barely pushing the gas and all of a sudden my timing belt broke and I shut the car off imediately. Did I mess anything up?

1. I drove to indiana- Go ahead look up my spun bearing story, I had a $200 rebuilt 6 bolt in 3 days later.
2. Drove to wisconsin-Traded to a rockford DSM'r, for some blocks and heads.
3. Dixon IL- Traded for rebuilt 30k 7 bolt NA with nice internals from Brownfinger, a member on here.
1. You found a really good deal. Did the guy have papers to prove the rebuild?
2. Did you trade for a complete rebuilt motor?
3. What exactly are "nice internals"? And Why put an N/A block into a turbo car? Did you make provisions for the lack of a knock sensor on the N/A block?
.
.Because $2-300 rebuilt motors are EVERYWHERE!!!! Dumbest advice i've ever heard! Take the $300, go get the head rebuilt, spend another $180 on an ebay timing belt kit, slap the car back together, and call it a day!
. I would say if your trying to go cheap for right now while you build a 6 bolt as you have the money just file down the nicks as already stated and put a good head and headgasket on it and reaplce the timing stuff and let the old 7 bolt run as long as it can. At worst case your out a head gasket and 7 bolt timing tensioner the rest you can use on a 6 bolt
Funny you say that because I have that on my list to buy from ma.
just hit 100,000
