Timing Belt VFAQ (Timing Belt TSB - ENHANCED)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This link is a very good place to help you out with your timing belt changing needs.
+1 thats what i used my first time come to think of it. However you should still get yourself a good repair manual you will need it!
Also you are going to need 3 tools that are explained in that guide.
MITSUBISHI 3 TIMING BELT INSTALL TOOLS 4G63 ECLIPSE DSM:eBay Motors (item 130356991532 end time Jan-15-10 19:11:03 PST)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ These three tools are going to be the key to your timing belt change. The timing belt tool that fits on the end of a rachet to help you move the pullys to fit the timing belt on. The long screw to compress the hydraulic tensioner and the crank tool to keep the bottom half of your engine from turning while installing the timing belt! You are also going to want to use 2 clips on the top cams (intake and Exhaust) to keep them from turning while you are installing the timing belt as shown in the guide. I used about 4 on each cam. Just to make sure there were going to be no problems. Can never be TOO careful!
