Its just my opinion, I just personally do not like the safc, it can only do certain things. No facts or proof,on my half, its just what I think. If link is on its way, why get an afc and install it? Right? Save yourself the hassle, money, and installation.
Im no wiseman, like you, but I wouldnt want my money spent where you wouldnt need it.

Edit: I changed my wording around a bit and by stating "garbage" I was only saying as in the technology from what we have today at our disposal.

I agree with you, I preffer my previous dsmchip over the SAFC, but doens't is not going to work.

my friend have a friend with FWD on AFC with 425whp on dynojet. everything is possible . also lots of evo 1-2-3 here are running 12 sec with AFC without issues.


right now am waiting to tune in ecuflash. timing is where the power came from.

I have a similar setup with my GST, but with an 18g. With the evo injectors and 20psi I see around 85% injector duty cycle on link.

Before I got link I was using a SAFC w/ logger and it ran awesome. The problem was, it would pull hard and feel amazing then BAM fuel cut. So at first I was like then I was all .

All the above is from those that havn't tuned it properly. . . I learned from guys on here that new what they were doing way back when. The knowlege is common. The results are plain and proven. Link is great I OWN IT!!! but for this guys current goal completely over the top.

I don't have an opinion one way or another on the SAFC in particular, but I've got a lot of muttering time on the MAFT.

I agree that they do what they are supposed to, but I still think it's better to save up a bit for ECMLink and be done with it.
