1G Mix gearbox oil ? GL4 / GL5

Just wonder if something can brake or go bad if I put in gl4 and gl5 gearbox oil 80/90 mix them 2 ?

If you scour the net it's a heated topic. Possible corrosion to yellow metals from additives in GL5 lubricants. I've always just erred on the side of caution and stuck with GL4. I have no objective data that states anything about the topic but there is lots out there. Here is one example
