Diaqueen gearbox MSDS?

Which specific gear oil? Just their 80w90 diaqueen??

Contact your dealer and they should have hard copies of all MSDS on site by regulation. You can request a copy.

Yes, because every shop is OSHA compliant..:.

But that actually is a good suggestion. I can’t imagine the MSDS for that gear oil would be much different than nearly any automotive gear fluids. Why the specificity?

Found one that should be pretty similar https://www.menards.com/main/items/media/ASHLA001/SDS/2612848_VALHPGEAROIL80W9012_1QT.PDF after a quick search. I mean their recipes may differ but both gear oils would behave about the same as far as the MSDS content.

I am suspecting that he is transporting some into the country and needs an MSDS to clear customs.

If you need me to, I can drive over to my dealer and get a copy printed and make into a .pdf copy. Let me know exactly which specific gear oil you are looking for the MSDS for. If it is the 80w90, SAE90 LSD diaqueen, the MTF 75-85 multi-gear, etc.

And yes, you need to have your MSDS of the fluids in Australia if you are a business and storing these fluids. Their regs are quite strict. You also need them to transport the fluids in through customs.

This is a close one to it otherwise, https://go.lupinsys.com/caltex/harm...92312a/search_api/Gear_Oil_LSD_SAE_90-SDS.pdf

Twicks, you were right. I called a local dealer and they emiled me the MSDS straight away which surprised me. I've contacted them before about VR4 parts and never even gotten a response. As it would happen it is rated as non hazardous which made my life much easier.

I was importing an EVO 2 RS box (W5M332WPFE) in from Malaysia. Just got it and discovered it has been converted to FWD!

Hoping my VR4 box rear out parts that are not being replaced in the box build will fit to make it AWD again. Not that there would be many apart from the OP shaft as the center diff is being replaced with a aftermarket 4 spider unit.
