its the big16gBig 16g or small?
what about a fuel pump? have you at least rewired your stock one, or do you have a new one altogether?
thanks..Without something to help you tune, like a wideband and a logger....I would say NO. It is not safe tuning with out those 2.
You should really think about getting both, it is very worth the investment. Once you have those 2 you will know exactly where you are on your tune, and you won't have to "guess" if you can run X amount of boost.
cool thanks..An SAFC is a piggy-back fuel controller. A datalogger is a tool used to monitor what the ECU is seeing from the engine. You use the datalogger to see if you're running lean, what your injector duty cycle is, if you're knocking, what your timing is, etc. THEN you tune those with your AFC.
We can't tell you what is SAFE to run on your car. Only your logger can show you that. If you pick up a logger and give us a datalog, we can help you make a decision based on that information. But a mod list isn't the type of data we need to make an informed decision.
kool..20psi should be no problem.. i ran 20 on my 14b with 750's.. and i know some people running 20psi on 16g's with 550's
kool..
thanks
Before raising boost, check for boost leaks. With boost leaks, you may be reading 15psi on the gauge but your turbo may be working too hard.
Your boost pressure depends on your fuel system and tuning level. With an all stock system Id think its around 14psi.
