ok so i jsut replaced my slave today and i dont leak fluid anymore ive checked . I think i need to bleed my lines or something because if i pump my clutch itll tighten up and work fine for the rest of the time but if i leave it set for awhile the clutch just falls to the floor . any ideas?

yeah my car was doing the samething and i had the ppl in the shop bleed it, and now its good

For the 2G is not easy to bleed unless you know what you're doing. Most shop bleed it from the bottom. For some reason I don't know how you bleed your clutch line.

For gravity reason If you bleed it from the top you'll have to disconnect the rubber hose from the clutch fluid reservoir. Get you a cone shape male nozzle from a gear fluid bottle and screw that nozzle on to the clutch fluid bottle. Make sure the clutch fluid bottle is full. Force the nozzle into the rubber hose clutch line and then squeeze the bottle. This will force the fluid into the line. Once the fluid begin to flow into the master cylinder have some one pump the clutch. After the fluid reach the slave cylinder, stop and reconnect the hose back onto the reservoir and fill it up with fluid. While reconnecting the hose onto the reservoir make sure air doesn't get into the hose. This is the best way if you'll gonna bleed from the top especially for those 2G owners.

If you bleed it correctly and there is no air in the line or no leakage. You're master cylinder shot out.

Hope this helps.

thanks ill try this guys appreciate it also wouldnt if the master was shot i couldnt pump it up and make it work at all ? thats the reason i think its just air cause its not like i cant get it to work i just pump the clutch when i get in a few times and its tight again so i think theres some air cause i would imagine if it was shot then i couldnt get any pressure for my clutch at all even with pumping it a few times and what not . Cause after i pump it like 15 times and it gets pressure it doesnt fail anymore after that until it sits for like 30 min LOL thanks in advance
