master cylinder or what?

ok today i got a new master cylinder and i put it in and did every thing and still no luck. i changed the slave about 5 months ago could that of went again. maby i have air in the system please help me out thanx also what eles could this be thanx again

Hey,

Does the car go into gear when the car is off, or not at all? My friend had a similar problem the his car would only go in gear when the car was off. When it was on it would grind but never go into gear. Anyway turned out his shift fork was bad. After he replaced the fork and ball everything returned to normal... Good luck.

yes it goes in to gear fine i looked at the peddle and there is no free play at all. so that is good news.

Are you sure? you have to pull it pretty hard. I find it hard to believe that a 1g pedal assembly having no play what so ever after 6 months of a havier clutch like the act2600.
Is your car drivable? If so get it to my house (South Brunswick) and I'll look at it for you.

My knowledge is mostly limited to my own experience with my own car and I haven't broken a clutch fork yet but common sense tells me you would have noticed when you were installing the slave, some one else who have experieced it would have to give you more details.
