ok today i got a new master cylinder and i put it in and did every thing and still no luck. i changed the slave about 5 months ago could that of went again. maby i have air in the system please help me out thanx also what eles could this be thanx again :dsm:

What is the problem that is going on with your car? Im guessing u r grinding gears or gears arent going in as easy? If so did you bleed your system after installing the new master cylinder? If you did bleed it, then you might have a leak somewhere in a line, make sure you dont keep loosing any fluid. If you are then there is a leak somewhere in the system and try to located it.

Do you you have pressure in the pedal? Did you try adjusting the master cylinder rod by loosening the jam nut be hind the pedal? Not saying its your problem but maybe just some insight.

If you see fluid comming out then it's definitely leaking. When replacing the mc, bleeding is a must. Make sure though you bleed it using the correct method.

well it is coved the whole thing is wet and i can easly take the boot off when i push the clutch in it bubbles so i guess that could be it....... :dsm:

No guess, it definitely is it, unless it's comming from the bleeder valve.

no its not coming out of the bleeder i maid shure so that could be my problem you think
.

 yes for the milliomth time... ;) Of course you also may have other problems as well but this is definitely one of them. Get it replaced and see what happens. Remember to bleed it using the procedure I gave you above.

Alright let's start over. Tell us why you changed the MC in the first place. Seems like this thread is a continuation of another problem. As detail as you can would be helpful including what prompted the original problem.

ok LOL i change it cause i broght it to turbo trix ans they said it was bad and it was leaking so i changed it and i have the same problem wont go in to gears and clutch wont disengage. at all so then i changed the slave still nothing i dont have alot of presser at all and the clutch hits presser realy low to the floor.

Turbotrix huh, I don't want to say too much but they are the reason why I started working on my own car. Why was it in Turbotrix initially when they told you the mc was leaking? I don't go there anymore except for the dyno. Did you just install the act2600?

1. Did you follow the procedures properly when bleeding? It's important because if you don't air will get back into the bleeder valve before you can close it fast enough.

2. Check for any other leaks.

3. Since you have a 90, I would check for pedal freeplay.

how do i check for pedal freeplay? i checked the leeks and there are none. i'm bleeding it again now.

Step on the pedal than release and let it come up by itself, pull the pedal with your hand to see if it will come up more. Basically the pedal has to be leveled with the brake pedal when it's at the up position, if not you have freeplay. I only had about 1/2 inch of freeplay on mine and it caused all kinds of engagement problems. If you're not engaging at all I would also check and make sure the clutch fork didn't snap. Where are you in NJ?
