Yea. It'd be hilarious to see a car with that sticker go down the track I love ebay intercoolers and even ebay wastegates, but ebay turbos. . .

I bought my car with an ebay turbo. I got it at 88,000 miles and it now has 99,500 on it. All of those miles have been with an ebay 16g and with 20 PSI. Once I get new injectors, it'll be seeing 30 PSI until I decide to buy the holset stuff I need still. Mine has worked flawlessly and who knows how many miles the previous owner put on this turbo.

What's your gram/rev or airflow?

Looking at the one log I have, airflow is 1600 at 5300 RPM but I'm pretty sure that was when my car wasn't running full timing due to some knock.

Yeah. I got 3 of them before I got a descent one. I have since then changed my wastegate and had the turbo balanced by Wilkerson's here in Springfield. It works good now.

Just because it has cuts in the shaft doesn't mean it is balanced... I found out the hard way....

Again Im waiting for datalogs showing 27+psi and 38lb/min on one of these turbos. Ive yet to see a 400whp ebay knock off 16g. I wonder why????

Damn I bought a gst in January that was trashed I had to put in a new altnerator, clutch cv axle timing belt all the pulleys , oil pan gasket. Got it running, and now Im thinking of buying a ebay 16 turbo kit on ebay from CXRACING comes with the intercooler , turbo. I read this whole forum and I think today Im going to buy it. Forget the haters.And oh yeah the hondas.

Ass for the turbo @ church that thing lasts longer then the first oil change. I'm not saying that ebay turbo's are junk. I'm just saying if you looks like a duck and walks like a duck (you get the idea)....

U just have to get lucky with these turbos. If i didn't buy my car with one on it i wouldn't have it. I now have over 23,000 miles on my ebay big 16g with no shaft play at all.

if you search around the cxracing stuff there is one with big 16g, fmic, exhaust header, and greddy type s replica for $700, and apparently cx's fmic are pretty decent and I have 2 buddies with 16g's from them one is at about 350miles n the other is over 3000, I'll probably end up buying that setup but not untill I pick up wideband, logger, and supporting fuel mods and something to tune with

Ebay Turbo with minimun shaft play with some oil leak on cold side of it, but one year and a half with 300+hp @15psi with 3500RPM spool. Its just more than great on XS Power turbo. But Im doing a rebuild and thinking on:

Still going strong at 14/15psi. I've got about 2500 miles on now. No problems. Pulls strong!

looks real nice man... and dont pay attention to the hatters on this forum.. not everybody has $600 to buya real mhi 16g turbo... just break it in properly and lets see some dyno results..

I sent my cams in and had them reground buy delta cams they charged me 200 dollars. My Ebay turbo is still holding up. This car pulls very hard from the bottom to the top. I would for sure do the cams twice. The turbo still works, but i think if i was going to spend the money again i would look into the Holset turbos setups. My car came with an ebay big 16g. The motor will be up and running here in a week to three...I'll punish the turbo and let ya guys know how long it lasts.
