No sir just the good ol atf+4 wanted it as thin as I could get it, Have yet so find a converter guy who understands altitude, every one we have ever put into a car has gone back at least once for a restall. Probably going to sell off this brand new 1g trans and converter and just go PI. Unless Brad can loosen it up enough.

Kiggly, I have almost the same turbo but a bullseye s383 87 turbine 1.25 exhaust housing, tuned on a mustang dyno yestersday and couldn't see more than 650 horse through the auto from 35 to 50 pounds of boost the numbers stayed the same but you could tell on the dyn that the car was making some big power from the way it sounded and ramped into boost. Any suggestions.

What do you mean by valve springs[DOUBLEPOST=1413135411][/DOUBLEPOST]I have kiggly valve springs

Not as easy as just buying the parts list off of a fast guys build and having it work like magic.

It could be your converter too.

Aaron, I built the car and tuned it this time. So as far as parts selection and build quality it is all top level stuff done right. Once I got to 47psi in the dyno yesterday we found the one dyno strap that was not right . It tried to drive right off the dyno. We made it to just over 51psi before we ran into an unrelated electrical issue.

I assure you his converter is hiding the power. Marcus stated that on three different dynos now he reaches a point where the dyno numbers stop going up but the car keeps responding.

Dude that's got to be the lowest comment I have ever heard from a fellow dsm'er about a problem. I have been in the game at this level for over ten years, I didn't just buy these parts yesterday, and didn't copy anybody. I definetly think it's the converter but, would figure I would ask someone who knew or has similiar builds. Pretty low bro.

Blue blaze, it's auto and it's a whole different world than I'm in, but if it's way off the numbers you suspect, I'd start checking things out.

So far in my experience with these cars, every time there is unexplained missing power its the valve springs are soft.
