are you going to be looking for performance on this car or just a daily driver? go with some NGK copper or iridium plugs(iridiums are a waste of money in my opinion), maybe magnecore wires, and if your going performance, get a k&n filter and get rid of your airbox, or if your not worried about power then get a stock replacement. change your oil, and if the timing belt was changed at 60k miles like it should of been, you should be set. am i forgetting anything?

yea i was gonna do a rad flush a oil change, a tune up and a trans flush within the next month. also is it ok to use pennzoil syncromesh in the trans that comes with the 420a's as the manual says to use some other fluid

i read it also if the timing belt hasnt been changed yet i think it would haev snapped as it would be about 30k over its limit. there were some receipts in a book for a serpentine belt and other things, guy i bought it from bought it at 75k miles and sold it because he now has a kid on the way and the kid wotn fit in with the eclipse so he has to get a 4 door car.

YEAH I NOW YOUR NOT GOING TO BE IMPRESSED AND YOU'LL MOST LIKELY THINK I'M STUPID BUT OH WELL. my car has 119,000 on the stock timing belt and waterpump. so you can go a while without changing it. all though i don't recommend it. and if you do an oil change i do highly recommend mobil 1 motor oil.
i would also check to see if all the recalls have been done.oh, and check the blinker fluid, if thats low your screwed.

change your timing belt line NOW before you have it snap on you, have the timing jump, bend some valves etc.....jeez that belt must be bore used than the corner hoe........

.....and beleive me she has been used :p
