not bad at all. take some time to rearrange some stuff under the hood and get some powdercoating/cleaning done and that has lots of potential.

theres no A/C? i see the one high pressure line but thats it.

yeah no AC no heat -I dont think, no cruise not sure why. I think whoever did the install just chopped and whacked what was in their way...

LOL chopped and whacked. sorry im visual and picturing that makes me laugh.

i got all the cruise control parts i removed it from my gs on purpose.
don't know why you don't have heat LOL.
A/C could easily be reinstalled. all you would need is the lines and condensor. junk yard would probably have it all.

Ok, I was just thinking and my back side window has a sticker that says wiseco piston. I wish I knew what was going on. Is there anything that sounds exactly like a rod knocking that it can be besides the motor being junk??? Could it have anything to do with the SAFC II. The dealer started the car heard the noise when gas was pressed and said motor was junk, that it must be a piston or bearing, they didn't know.

Does the knocking sounds get more noticeable with higher RPMs (3500+). Or is it present throughout the whole RPM range, but less noticeable after the engine thoroughly warms up?

Wiseco is an aftermarket piston manufacturer, which means your car most likely has forged aluminum pistons. The knocking sound you're hearing could be a case of piston slap, depending on the symptoms you describe.

throughout idle, every speed, thats not good huh. If I continue to drive it like that will I put the rod through the block, if that is what it is.
