Just bought a 95 Gs yesterday for 1600. Few problems
1) Speedometer doesnt work...Tach works but speedo doesnt work and it doesnt count miles driven i guess cause the car doesnt know its moving...I heard its a wheel sensor or speed sensor...any idea or know where i can find the part ?

2) Also power locks doesnt work and the keylocks on the doors dont work...any ideas?
3) Windows ride up real slow...idea?

Thanks for any help guys I wanna fix all this before I do suspension and the bodywork.

Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) is located on the top of the tranny. Look straight down at the tranny from between the TB and battery and you will see it. Single 10mm bolt to remove. You might have lost the sensor (funtionality) or the ring gear that meshes with the differential could have failed. If the former, replace the sensor/check wiring. If the latter, you'll have to open the tranny to find it before it does any serious damage. It's a white, plastic gear, so it might not be too bad, but it's still foreign matter in your gears.

Windows might just be tired motors or dirty tracks. Not sure.

You could try spraying some silicone or white lithium grease on the window tracks. Unfortunately, it sounds like the signs of a failing eleven year old actuator to me. If that's the problem, replacement (of the actuators) is the only option.

As for the locks; it sounds like more bad actuators (more likely), or possibly faulty wiring (less likely).

thanks man im thinking about ordering coilovers, the vss, and window motors next week.
