2G Issues with car starting after head gasket job. 95 gst 7bolt.

What I am running into is a potential issue with camshaft sprockets. With the timing marks where they need to be for a turbo engine the valves are both opening at the same time. If i do it for a non turbo engine, the timing marks do not add up. I don't see any internal damage, and the head has passed a vacuum test twice, indicating there isn't anything wrong with the valves in the head currently.

Trying to get to the bottom as to why i have all the ingredients for it to start, but still it will not.

I don't really understand what you intend to do, but it seems you are misunderstanding and did something wrong.
You don't change the timing mark position. There is only one position. Usually you say 2g with non turbo engine means the engine is 420A. Totally different engine from 4G63. They don't share the timing marks. Even if you meant the 4g63 non turbo, the timing marks are the same between turbo and non turbo.
You should clarify more about the situation. So we would be able to give you more specific advice.
