I just hooked up my MBC. I got the car without one installed. Is the way its supposed to be installed? And to adjust it, looser is less boost and tighter is more boost correct? Its a TurboXS MBC. Ive searched around and some diagrams show the turbo being teed into it also but theres no fitting on my turbo.

i believe thats wrong your not supposed to tap it in the bov. tap it in a j pipe if you have one if not tap it in the turbo cover

I dont have a j-pipe nor a nipple on the turbo cover

What Do i do if i dont have a jpipe or a nipple on the turbo?

The one coming off your wastegate is correct but I cannot see the other tube

That is completely wrong.

You simply need to remove the line from the MBC that hooks to the wastegate. Tap the charge outlet from the turbo and connect the hose from the wastegate to that. Then, cut that hose in half and put your MBC between those two.

Where the T is now between your BOV line, you need to remove that and simply reconnect the BOV line to the Intake manifold as 1 solid hose.

All the MBC does is keep pressure from the charge soruce from reaching the wastegate until it reaches a certain PSI to push past the MBC and reach the pressure needed to open the wastegate. You may be making 14PSI, but the Wastegate only see's 7PSI.

Also, where is your Coolant temp sensor?

here is a diagram if it helps u out

i Thought it was wrong becuase I screwed both adjustment screw all the way out and im still pushing 23lbs.

But I dont have a nipple on the turbing housing so how am I supposed to do this?

Should I just drill a hole right before the turbo on the IC pipe and put a fitting into it? or can I just drill into the turbo itsel where it says a/r .60?

I got the barbed fitting and the right sized drill from the hardware store. So where do I drill?

If you read my post it explains what you need to do.

If your compressor housing does not have a boost source tap and your j pipe does not have one, then you will need to tap for a boost reference.

**EDIT**

Sorry not your j pipe but your first intercooler pipe off the compressor housing.

Correct. You can tap the piping of the intercooler as close to the turbo as you can. This will keep you from actually damaging the Turbo in any way.

Looks to me like the mangled remains of it are still sitting in the t-stat housing. As for the wiring and connector...:idontknow:

Yea I go the car like that. The rad fans are wired to stay on all the time. I plan on getting everything fixed and running right.
