I've found my vapor purge control solenoid is bad by bench testing. Applied 12v and the valve wouldn't move. After trying to find one for my '99 RS I came up empty. Everything I found didn't look like the part I was wanting to replace. I eventually started looking at Talon and Sebring parts. Finally found what looks like the same part for a '99 Sebring. I know they all share similar parts but I can't find a good cross reference for aftermarket parts. Found this one on ebay and it says it works on the Sebring, but not the Eclipse. Looks the same though. I'm wanting to order this today if anybody can help me confirm that this should work. I just worry that the hoses may be too small or the plug not fit.

Looking in the Mitsubishi ASA database part "4669940AB" doesn't match the part for your model/year so it doesn't look good.
