Is my MBC hooked up correctly?

My MBC is hooked up like this:

From some port on the intake manifold to the BOV. In between, the line is Tee'd into the MBC the other side of the MBC goes to the nipple on my External Wastegate.

Does this sound right? I could have sworn that this is a no-no for some reason. If it is a no-no then what sort of symptoms would it cause and what way should it be connected?

Thanks for any thoughts!

no that is wrong. the BOV line should have nothing tee'd into it; just straight line from BOV to intake manifold.

the MBC should go between the port on your j-pipe and the wastegate.

No that's not correct. I don't know exactly what it will do but I've heard others say not to go to the BOV. It should go from the turbo outlet (j pipe) to the wastegate. Which is how stock is setup with the WGS. Check here:

I don't know how much different Galants are designed but still the same location. I saved this link for when I get a MBC

Man, beat me to it. I can never get the first reply :p

Hahaahaha, ok.

I am going to check out the post. I was actually looking for this.

Thanks!

like already mentioned tapping mbc into intake line at bov and intake manifold is not the correct way. If im not mistaken after a while having it connected like this will create problems with the bov operating properly.

My turbo doesn't seem to have that fitting at the compressor. It is a Big16g. The GVR4 engine bay is cramped in that area. Does that seem right? Could that be because it has an external wastegate? Not sure if that would have anything to do with that but I figure I would just draw it to your attention.

Also, what is the "J-PIPE"? There are so many different pipes that I am confused LOL.

Thanks!

Thanks is it the one at the top of the compressor held on by 2 bolts if you look right down at it? My ETS setup has some allen bolts in there and I am wondering if they will come off easy...kinda scares me LOL!

After looking at Calan's pics, it doesn't get any more clear than that!
Thanks

The J Pipe is the pipe coming directly of the compressor housing down into the intercooler piping. It is shaped like a J and is held on with 2 bolts. You can tap this pipe off and make a source. Ill try to post a picture for you.
