Hey guys I just installed my MBC and I was wondering if the lines are plugged in the right way. On the mbc next to the large arrow there is a label that says "arrow faces waste gate actuator". So I put the hose coming from the turbo the other end where there is no arrow and then I put a line from the arrow side and connected it to my waste gate.

The reason why im asking is because I turned it all the way down to the lowest possible click and turned it up 4 clicks and went to work and while driving I still only hit my waste gate 6lb usual. So ill turn it up more and see what happens but I just wanted to make sure it was put on the right way.

Like I said I haven't personally used one but I know they are bleeder types, so how does it bleed off without that missing T?

Did you check the links I gave you? Where did you get the MBC at? I'm just saying I haven't seen one of those sold without the T to bleed off the excess air. It's not like the ball and spring design.

the hallman are great but if you dont have the money for a hallman then you could buy a nxs mbc. i have heard great things about them and they are $20 shipped.

Ok so I studied that diagram. I get it but the part where one nipple is supposed to go to the intake? Where would that go on my intake? I can get a tee fitting and run that from the turbo and wg to the wg nipple but then wouldn't it be one thing? I'm confused -_-

I got it as a gift :) maybe that's why it doesn't work :(

But back to the intake part. Where does that go?

The mbc is not supposed to be "T" to anything. The only connections between the two are the jpipe and wastegate. Is there 3 ports? I would try to get a good one or name brand. I have the slowboy racing one and got it for 30 bucks. I would hate to see a turbo or motor go because the boost controller is crap. It could cause boost spike.

You are talking about a ball and spring boost controler, bleeder style controlers work differently.

The tee is supposed to be the bigger restriction and the dial is for fine tuning. I can see how people use just the dial for crappy boost control. Using it that way would be just like the ball and spring design but there is a few reasons why they use a ball and spring instead of just making the hole smaller (like the dial does)

So there is a reason for the tee with this boost control design. Google shows a lot of diagrams

*Crap. 2 minutes late with the same pic haha

^That's a good simple device IMO cheap too...

I thought so, I liked the design & color options. I have the EVO Series Electric Boost Gauge already from them & love it so I thought I would give it a shot. Should be here any day!

Dude, do yourself a favor. Find a steam roller and run that piece of shit boost controller over, or just throw it away... your choice :)

That just seems way too complicated.

You want a good cheap boost controller? I'll sell you my spare Turbo XS boost controller. $45 bucks shipped. I ran it for 4,000 miles with my car at 22psi, it always worked flawless and it looks new..
