I just hooked up my forge mbc and went out for a test drive.
I can't go into boost,I get this big backfire from the exhuast.
I'm not sure if I hooked it up right?I have the bottom of the mbc hooked to the turbo.
And the side of the mbc to the wastegate.is that right?

If it is then it's something else.

Don't use the BOV line. It may affect how the BOV operates.

Did you try adjusting the MBC to raise boost? Did it come with instructions, and if so, did it tell which port is for pressure side and which is for the wastegate? Try turning the MBC the other way around, so the hoses are switched, though I think you probably have it the right way, if it's anything like a standard ball and spring MBC. If all else fails, do a boost leak check and check the wastegate actuator arm to see if it's still on the flapper arm.

I had an Profec 2 connected to my 1g. I'm selling it and installed the EBC to my 2g. The MBC (TurboXS) is now installed to my 1g and it only boosts to 8, stock psi.
Why?
I turned the MBC 3 full turns and its still the same. Should I keep turning?
Connected wrong?
The bottom is connected to the Wastegate actuator. The side is connected to the nipple on the intake tract. Sound right?
TurboXS says to "T" into the BOV, but I do not want to do that.
Help thanks!

Usually the TurboXS MBC's have an arrow scribed into them to indicate direction of pressure flow. In any case, here's a little diagram to help you out.
