Long story short - blew up my 1995 GSX in 2005 , got sick of the car and busy with life so I didn't touch it until now. Now I'm dropping a fully built 2.3L stroker in and I'm trying to figure out how to tackle the 7-year old gas in the tank.
From what I've read online, old gas transforms into a glue-type varnish that can gunk up valves and wreck havoc on an engine. Am I OK just draining the tank, flushing it out w/ a few gallons of clean gas, changing the filters and running it....or should I replace the tank and lines?
Also, recommendations on how to clean my injectors?
