I did the same to the high beams on my old Talon. Used Stained Glass paint from any hobby shop. and some amber bulbs. Looks awesome! Wouldn't do the low beams tho, that pisses off our already corrupt cops here.

Hoods all look good.

I had an old cop pull me over and say it was illegal, I had already researched our laws and only red or blue is. I've forgotton the page, but our local laws have no other restriction on color of headlights, and he was like, "well it just don't look right, I don't like it" . I said I'll gladly change them if you can open the book and show me where I am breaking the law. Otherwise your infringing on my rights due to your opinion and neither of us want to have to go to court over that.
"yeah well, it still don't look right"

BK85 do you have a side shot with this hood?

Not a 2G but heres my old 1G Hood with Cold Air Intake.
I owned a RHD EVO1 at the same time I had this and took the idea from the stock EVO1 Hood.

I had planned on building a Aluminum Sheet Metal Cold Air Box like the one you see in this pic. The box would have sealed up to the hood, but I never got around to doing it. Even without the Cold Air Box it worked better than having no cold air port.

I liked the modification of that hood, but I can't bring myself to do this on my 2G so I just decided to take cool air from the fender well.

Is that a stainless coffee mug overflow?

To the op... i love the two tone paint scheme with the green. I also followed along with your posts when you did you head lights and think they're awesome as well. It got me thinking of what other colors you could do that would turn out nice.
Old school carbon fiber. Its the only one i have ever seen like it but im pretty sure there are more of them out there.

OP, did you do all that paint work yourself?

Yes, only because I'm the head automotive paint technician at our shops.
Not much money invested in my paint on my cars, just the time I spend.
Perks of being in my position with paint rep hook ups.

Can you post a pic of those headlights on?

No, i sold them a year ago. and have these crappy things now... I need to remedy that.
Yes everything was bright gold, street signs would glow from 2 miles away, visability did not change and I felt i could see better with a yellow gold light better than these projector blue purple lights.

You nknew it was me comming down the road at night.
