2G HKS 264s are gone (2G DSM)

Looks like HKS 264s are no longer available....I was really wanting those as that is what I used in the past to reach 400 (16G) and it worked, so I knew exactly what I was getting. Anyone know where they can be had or what would make sense in their place? Sure I could figure it out but hearing first hand from anyone who feels exactly as I do would be cool.

Comp 101100/ FP1 cams are comparable and still available.

Have you tried extreme psi? They list many cams so may still have stock or possibly can get them from a stockist somewhere

i was kinda thinking the same thing. There has to be alot of places that have stock of them.

I can find the exhaust cam at a few places, but the intake side seems a little tougher,

Does anyone know the part # for the HKS 264 Intake cam (exhaust is 2202-RM004)

Well according to the specs, the 003 is the intake cam for the 264 series.
The first link shows a duration of 272.
I believe the 003 is the correct intake cam to match the 004 exhauat cam.
Since in its description it says modification for 97-99 may be required for the cam angle sensor, it has to be an intake cam.

If you can't find the hks, I've heard great things about the GSC S1 cams.

I am going with GSC cams when I am fixing up the red monster Vegas, but the S1's are quite abit bigger in lift than the HKS 264's.
I'm going S2's but........OP, here you can compair lifts and durations:

FP and Crane make similar grinds but not exactly the same as HKS.

HKS don't produce cams for DSM, EVO 1-3 anymore, it is thin but maybe some shops in Japan still have it in stock. Jun Auto still produces 264 and 272 for DSM though.

No, I have never compared them both personally. I had the HKS 264 on my 1g long time ago though. The Jun 264 has a little bit more valve lift than the HKS 264. And probably you can find more infos in this forum.

Actually you can buy it directly from them. They have their website in english and accept Paypal. But if you have a hard time to purchase it from them I can help you out. or in case If you want the purchase done in the States, maybe you should ask Tomei USA or Trust (GReddy), because in Japan they are dealer of Jun's products.

OK thanks for the info!! Really hoping I can find a set of ther HKS 264 cams......I would even buy them used if anybody has a set that they would be willing to part with. Part of the fun is wanting a hard to find part like this, then finally finding it, so I should be enjoying this!

Yeah someone sent me a link for that exhaust cam actually....But now that youve told me this, I will search Michigan thoroughly.....Ive been combing through craigslist, all states, takes time. Wish it was possible to search all states in one shot but I dont think it is.
