I have the opportunity to pick up a 6-bolt longblock for a good price. I'm looking to step up my game and possibly do a 7-bolt head/6 bolt bottom end swap, but I'm wondering if the hile mileage on the 6-bolt is going to affect anything.
I'll likely be replacing the crank/rods, etc for around a 500whp goal, but will the over 200,000km on the 6-bolt come with any block integrity issues or something along those lines?
Thanks in advance.

I tore down my 180K mile block and it is still within spec and going back together with the stock crank and std pistons. We are actually doing 2 at the same time and both blocks were hi mileage and they are both staying std. Maybe we are just lucky but they didn't even have any ring ridge!
