Hello All,
It's been over a year since I came on here - my DSM let me down once again and I needed a break. Well, I'm back at it and I'm struggling with the wiring of my OHM racing harness. I reached out the company, but they never replied, so I hope someone on here can help me out.

I ordered my harness a year ago, and I am converting to a Haltech elite ECU.

I have the harness in place, and I am running the plugs into the center console. Right now it seems like the OEM starter relay is being deleted. Is this true? The new harness has leads going to the starter, which looks good, but with the original wires removed, the relay is lost as well. Does the Haltech not need this function anymore? Am I missing something?

I would love if someone had a 2g install thread, but so far I have not seen a thing. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Glad to be back with the DSMTuners crew!

I was trying to talk to OHM racing about ign 1A setups and I struggled to get reply's from him/them I have no idea who works there!

I gave up asking and never went through with the order as lack of reply's made me annoyed. just pester them for them to respond. if they don't want money then that's on them.

but having a product out there they made they should most certainly put you priority for helping or detailing WHY this was removed and how to work around it! did you say you needed it when you had the harness made?

I was looking at buying a new OHM harness someone was selling but not exactly what I needed so I reached out to them on Facebook if they could rework it to my specifications. They replied promptly and said that it would take twice as long to rework than to make a new one. Try messaging them on Facebook.

Thanks guys, I usually get a response in a few days.

Bobby, I reached out to haltech - they said the ECU can definitely be set up to run the starter directly, so it looks like OHM has it like that. Fingers crossed....

The only complaint I have with the harness right now is the labels and lack of instructions. They use abbreviations, but never give you a key to what they mean... MPI? Multi Pory Injection? LOL who knows what half of these mean.

Its obvious to me that I will need to start making a tutorial on this setup as I figure it out.

There’s a couple of ohm harness in a dsm YouTube videos. I watched one a year or so ago, I can’t remember if it talked about the starter circuit. Maybe something helpful tho if you see another one installed?

Ever have luck with full/final install? I haven't had good luck getting in contact with them. I am curious on the starter relay as well.

Has anyone solve this issue going through this process now?

OHM bypasses the starter relay to these. I got the one I was working on all sorted and working great. If you have any questions let me know.

If you’re running 1g CAS and IGN1A coils, you will have to swap the pins at the ecu (if running stock ecu/ ECMlink)
Even if you selected the the 1G CAS from ohm, they do not pin it correctly

Could definitely use some help if you wouldn’t mind shooting me an email at [email protected] or you could even shoot me a text at 443-306-0115
