I am in the middle of swapping from dsmlink to a haltech ecu in my 2g. My stock harness has been cut up and altered so many times I am thinking about purchasing an ohm racing harness. They look like they are on the ball with options etc. However their communication has not been too good via email. Anyone on here running their harness? I would love an honest review before I spend 2k on one. Thanks!

I've never seen anyone complain about one. They appear to be very high quality harnesses. Communications and customer service just doesn't exist in the DSM vendor community unless you're dealing with Morrison Fab. Otherwise, double or triple the wait time they give you and don't expect to hear back on many questions you have. I'm currently having a harness built with another vendor and I'm at 5 months with a 2 week initial wait.

Honestly with how most modern dsm owners are, I can’t really blame them. I’d probably adopt a “returning customers get preferential treatment” approach.

I am running their “stage 3” body and engine harness. The harnesses are built with great quality materials and attention to detail. They pretty much lay right in place to reach all connectors perfectly. With that said I have had two issues with my harness. The issue that wasn’t their fault was caused by my turn signal switch wires being pinched because I had a mismatch in the early 2g plastics on the column and the later model switch causing a melt down in the harness. I shipped it back to them for repair and they didn’t even want to charge me for the repair but I insisted. The second problem I had was their fault but I didn’t even contact them about it and fixed it myself. It was a bad crimp job on the bsc circuit causing me to have no control over my electronic boost controller. Finding the bad crimp job while the harness was in the car was very difficult since there was a couple different connection points in the harness where it could have been and they were all all burrows under the dash after install. Like I said I never contacted them about it but I’m sure they would have fixed the issue without question. I attributed the mistake to the fact the I bought the harness during a group buy so they were trying to turn out a lot of harness in a short amount of time to meet the demand. Even with that small issue I would still recommend them 100%.

I would disagree about the customer service. There are some companies that are difficult to deal with mostly due to how busy they are and how little help they have but there are way more than just Morrison fab that have outstanding customer service.

Thanks for the feedback guys... my stock harness worked soo well for me, I took it all apart, tucked it and removed everything I wasn't using with dmslink. Unfortunately i removed wayyyy too much for haltech, especially if I'm going to go dbw. I'll keep everyone posted after I make my order next week.

I have an engine harness. It is a very nice harness. I only had one issue. The harness was not linked to the 12v fuse box link. I could not get the fans to work. I fixed it and all is fine.
