I have a 95 eclipse gst. The motor was just rebuilt forged rods forged pistons cometic gasket, head rebuilt ss valves etc. all the good stuff lots of money....
anyhow the mechanic called me today told me it was ready I picked it up drove about 40 miles and boom the car stalled. I tried to start it and nothing .... I called the mechanic he had me check the voltage on the battery which is one day old.. it was find check this check that... He then told me to check the timing belt I told him nope it looks good its still tight and not torn. I have my friend watch it while I tried to start the car again and it isn't even moving now!
I am freaking out lots of money into the car and I don't even know where to start or what to expect. Please fellow DSMers help me!

they are really grabbing at straws I told them I have had enough and I was going to tow the car out of there and bring it to a different mechanic they said no problem. I called the tow truck and then asked is the car easy to get to... They said yes, I went and looked and they had it boxed in. I asked them to move a car so I can get it out and the wrecker can get to it. They then told me they were moving anything until I paid them. I went back and forth why should I pay you... the car died after 20 miles. Went back and forth so anyways I called the cops they came out and told them they couldn't hold the car and that it was a civil matter.
