My tail light fuse has been popping every so often the last few months, and now it has gotten to the point where anytime I turn the key to the on position, or even lock my doors the tail light fuse blows. WTF!! I don't even know where to start looking for the problem.. somebody please give me a start point!!

The power wire is grounding out somewhere, fuses blow when a given circuit has too much amperage flowing through it, which only happens if said circuit becomes grounded before the load, as that allows unlimited amperage to flow, thus tripping the fuse. You have to figure out where it is grounding out, usually when something is grounding out, its stripped insulation from being pinched or rubbed against by metal.

Trace the wire from the fuse to the taillights. Check first the wiring right by the taillights and right where it connects to the fuse panel as those are probable places for it to be stripped/exposed/shorting out. If you can't easily find it then you are going to have to trace the wiring all the way from the fuse to the taillights. Also if you haven't already, make sure you have the correct size bulb in your taillights.

Is there anything else on the same circuit that could have a bad ground? For example stereo, cigarette lighter, door locks, or is is 100% something to the tail lights? I mean obviously the fuse is for the tail light circuit but I don't know if anything else is run on that fuse
