i did a turbo swap my car is no longer a non turbo car its turbo, people do swaps here awd, talon eclipse same body except awd, i wouldnt think anyone would go to register it something it was and now its changed.

No, your car was made a gst. That is what the title will always say.

Your not thinking of swapping the vin are you..Cause that's hella ileagal..

I also don't se the point of trying to make your gst into a tsi..There the same car minus the awd ones..The insurance is still the same on fwd turbo(gst,tsi) or awd turbo(gsx, tsi)..

Since the VIN# will not change, it still has to be registered as the VIN indicates. You can't change that (legally)

There are ways (illegal)....But don't do it....

When i had my R32 skyline and was rolling in those circles people used to register them as 240sx's and/or kit cars. They did this to sidestep EPA and the federal regulations that state these cars are illegal to drive on public roadways. Unless they were brought here and converted the right way and EPA legalized with OBD-II, DOT windshield, etc, etc... which 98% of skylines in the country are not legalized federally.

Long story short, People that registered and titled their cars under a different make/model or as a kit car to fool the state eventually almost all got busted and had their cars taken away and exported by the government and charged with fraud. There are some that have been able to fly under the radar.... and you see them at meets every once and a while... I was one of them. But not worth it anymore as i got to much to loose, that's why i sold mines while i still could.

Keep your GSt registered as a GSt and do a do a full body conversion to a talon TSi if you want. Nothing illegal about that and that would be the way to go if your set on this idea.

bahahah na i aint doing anything ilegal. some girl wants to trade her 7 bolt 97 gst to my esi and i rather have a tsi instead of a gst, not that anything is wrong with them but im ther only kid in town with a talon type thing with 5 eclipses running around all non turbo t

Are you talking about swaping the 7 bolt into you ESi??
That isn't going to happen anyways!
I mean its Possible but extremely difficult and expensive!
