ok so iv been doin some research and maybe im just bad at reasearching but i havent found a straight forward topic on what all can be put onto a 2g from a 1g. have all the stock parts of the 2g but want to put my completely stock 1g set up in my 2g cause i rebuilt the motor recently, just wondering what all can be put in from the 1g. also my gst is an automatic. can i put the 1g 5 speed trans and set it up for a 5 speed with the 1g transmission and linkage and what not. as much help would be greatly appreciated guys. oh and both are FWD

You cannot use the 1g trans in a 2g car, Nor can you use the shift linkage and base ETC.

what about the intake manifold and the camshafts? wuld the wiring harnees hook up to a 1g intake manifold and cam position sensor?
