alright here is the deal. I have a 1995 GST with a lot of mod's! but i found a 1994 GSX in super straight shape with a blown motor and a brand new (under 2k mi. on it) shep racing dog box trans $1050 for everything! he is a friend who has come into some hard times, and no, you cant have this deal! j/k

i want to put my `95 gst motor in the `94 gsx.

i want to know how many of you have heard of this swap. it is a 7bolt to 7bolt swap.
are the heads the same? i doubt they are, and i have a feeling the cam sensors are different. but everything else should swap over easy right?

i plan on using;

1g GSX
1g AWD race trans.
1g jester tuning stage 3 ECU/eprom
he has already put the 2g MAF in, and he has a SAFC-II in it
no a/c of course
1g radiator
1g alternator
2g motor mounts
2g motor

i love my motor and it has put me in the low 13's at 110mph i would be a lot faster if i could get traction!
so my question is
do i do the swap, and part out my clean 95 gst (or the whole car w/o motor and turbo for a little more than im paying for the gsx):thumb:

im open to any sudgestions and tech comments!

I think the 2g head is a little different than the 1st g 7 bolt. I would use the 1st g intake manifold. The cam sensors might be the same. I have a 93 gsx and I have a 90 motor with a 93 head. I just had to drill out the head to fit the 6 bolt arp studs cause my other head was messed up.
