GS into GST??

would a GS with a GST motor and tranny be the same as a GST essentially? is there anything different between a GS and GST besides the motor and transmission?

yeah the motors are backwards, thats a start, now to make the gs turn into a gst its going to require lots of time and money.

It would be a lot cheaper and easier to buy a turbo kit for it.

This question comes up alot. With the money you'll be able to get by selling your GS it would be a waste of time and effort in converting it. I'd say, if you have alot of time and money in your GS and it is a good-running, low-mileage car -- look for a turbo kit. Turbo cars are fun, but they can be expensive -- so if you sell your car to buy a turbocharged car research the hell out of it. Use carfax, take it to a mechanic that knows and has worked on dsm's and good luck.
