That's sitting up way to high and sorry to say, but you got the longest routed FMIC out there. I see a tab on the top and the bottom of the core, I would imagine you are going to drill and mount it to the rad support.

It's funny how Greddy DSM parts just arent as efficient as they were at one point. There's so much better stuff out there nowadays. There's a Godspeed install guide out there. A quick search will get you results.

I paid $700 for the core and piping from extremepsi.com
I just wish i had the brackets to mount it with
i found one pic on here of the brackets but i cant seem to find the thread again LOL

Ouch, $700? Sorry to say but sometimes all you pay for is a name as in this case. $300 could have gotten you a larger short route kit that is efficiently cooling any airflow you can throw at it.

Man, it makes me worried now. I also have the same Greddy 24v (old) laying around waiting to be installed. It didn't come with any bracket at all. I hope you figure it out. Let me know what you figure out. I would really appreciate it.:rocks:

Pulled directly from the website.

It has pre-drilled hole to mount 15.5" to 17" Bungs between. or you can drill new holes. it can mount almost all FM intercoolers.

Like i said in my previous post, you can easily drill a new hole in the mounting bar

I custom fabricated the brackets for my fmic. wasnt hard just get some nice thick metal stripping, bend it to where the fmic sits nice, drill holes and bolt it up

Sand and Fry, it would be cheaper and easier to get a small metal strip to attach to the 2 pre existing mount tabs in the center of the core and attach directly to the support.

If you like spending more money than need be so be it.

Those tabs are there for a reason. You don't need metal
straps or to modify anything.

It's mounted too high up look lower and a little further back there is a bolt on the radiator support that you back out and use in that top tab. Same on bottom.

While you paid a little more than are typically going for don't listen to the "haters". Sure it's longer but you won't notice it.

Still a better core than The eBay crap and you keep your fogs. My buddy is making over 400 hp with that intercooler.

Don't modify anything just look for those mounting locations. Posting from my phone sorry I couldn't be more help.

Glad you found the brackets, I was going to offer to send you my Greddy brackets since I sold the FMIC and have no use for them.

i ran the same core on my 1g. i loved it and couldnt tell a difference in the long route. looking good keep up the work.
