What is the difference between the 18R and the 24R?

Those instructions looks like they're for the smaller Greddy core but nonetheless the same installation instructions. Good find.

It runs right underneath the fuse box, IIRC.

how did everyone put the last pipe that connects right under the fuse box? did u just use the stock piping and rubber fitting? mine keeps blowing off

Can I see some pics of how you routed your piping to a 14b/16g? I just found shots of the front but not the engine bay.

The Greddy IC is set up for the stock location turbo. With that said, there are many kits for a 2g that include a J pipe that points the outlet (cold side) of the turbo down to the stock location. There is still need for a 90 degree elbow at the end of the J pipe to connect to the lower pipe of the Greddy kit. Make sure that whatever J pipe you get has a lip at the end of it and is not just smooth because it will just blow off under higher boost pressure.

I dont have any pics but I have the 24V with a 16g and I am using the RRE J-pipe and RRE Greddy upgrade lower U-pipe.

Just got the pipe that runs from the top outlet across the fmic. Nothing else. So I have to get everything custom from a muffler shop.

Just needed a visual to get my mind right.

Is it worth doing this anyway? This piping route is long I see, anyway to shorten it?

As mentioned RRE sells jpipe and lower ic pipe that will meet at the stock smic location, which should bolt up to greddy small or large fmic kit. I know because it was my old setup

dejontool also sells the necessary pipes. Others as well.

just go ahead and order the greddy 24r kit and the lower and upper ic piping, the j pipe will fit with that kit

Hey guys i just bought a greddy 24r intercooler kit off some dude for 300 bucks he also threw in the greddy type s bov, and i was wondering if anyone had complete pictures of the whole kit upper and lower piping put together, because im kinda confused about it thanks.

You should have a S pipe with your kit that looks something like in the pic below. The arrow is pointing to the S pipe in the pic. You connect one end to the lower pipe coming from FMIC core and the other end to the turbo. Pretty simple...
