good buy?

my friend wants to seel me his Greedy intercooler set up. This is the smaller one i believe. He wants to let it go for 100.00 bucks with only 1000 miles on it. I was thinking, should i buy it? it doesnt look like he needed to cut? the only catch is that its set up for a 1g bov. If i were to buy could i use the pipeing from the Greddy hard pipeing to the stock intercooler? thanks as always.

the greddy IC are long route pipe so they route thru your stock SMIC location, so yes if you buy the IC setup and a greddy UICP or cheaper dejon pipe you can have it flanged for whatever BOV you like. Chances are you can buy a new flange for the exisiting UICP and weld it up with little hassle. And what is wrong with a 1G BOV? they work quite well, plus they are cheap!

hahaha yeah i know the 1gBOV are just great its just that i bought this one a long time ago when they 1st came out and it only cost me. .ummm90 i think. HA i friend had lost his and bought another one so he sold it to. hmm yeah i look around here in SA texas for a local shop.

So what type of bov do you have?? the 1g flange can be modified for a greddy bov.
