Guys what is that connector I can’t seem to find any fuel pumps that have a hole for it please help car cranks but doesn’t turn on I think it might be a fuel pump issue and I’m trying to change it but as you can see from the pictures the new fuel pump I got doesn’t have it , can I just drill a hole and will that work the same ?

That is power supply for the regulator, how strange for the new assembly to not have this. I'm sure you could drill holes in the new assembly to use it. Just make sure to use some sort of gasket here or else gasoline fumes will escape.

Engine cranks but seems the engine is not getting any fuel I replaced the fuel pump but still not going through it does through the fuel pump but not to the engine what do you guys think the problem is please any tips appreciated

It’s getting to the fuel rail? What kinda car/mods we working on?
Yeah it goes to the rail but thats it It’s a gst 1998 eclipse it’s got 1200cc injectors and on a e85 pump its running 400shp I just have no idea why the fuel not going through

If it had e85 in the tank and has been sitting, the fuel lines are probably gelled up

If you look at "legit street cars" youtube channel, they bought a candy paint eagle talon that had all of the fuel lines clogged with old e85 fuel. They did several things to clean the lines, and lots of blowing with compressed air
