Not sure if this info has yet to be updated or not, but here are a couple sites with Evo III 16G CHRA's for $450 and under:

Forced Performance Turbochargers: Mitsubishi Evo III 16g CHRA

Mitsubishi Evo 3 Big 16G TD05H CHRA - Turbochargers.com

This could bring hope to Evo III owners who blew the shit out of their turbos, or if you're able to get a good deal on an Evo III that is badly blown with considerable wheel damage ($100 or less), you can drop a new CHRA in and have a new turbo for $550-$600.

Justin, can you confirm your part number? I have the Evo III 16G turbo as MR239346 with a PNC code of 12510A for a 1994-1995 CE9A. I have an Evo 1/2 (small or big I can't remember) 16G as MD191317, and a DSM 14B as MD168040.
I also have MR239345 and ME083572 for the Evo III 16G, Tim.

Hello friends !

I'm looking for a EVO3 16G and due to the tremendous price increase, I would like to know if there's any vendor still selling it for a decent price ? Who's got it cheaper nowdays ?

The ones I've seen run for about U$ 999 (Forced Performance)

I also tried to buy a rebuilt one here on the Classifieds, but with i had no success... I can't find one !!! If someone has it, please let me know

Thanks for your help !

Nope, that's about it.

Turbochargers.com still has the Evo III 16G CHRA priced at $450, but you'll need a turbine housing with the v-band clamp, a compressor cover, and a wastegate actuator.

You can buy a knockoff 16G from eBay for under $200, then buy the MHI CHRA for $450...put the MHI CHRA into the knockoff turbine housing and use the actuator and compressor cover from that turbo as well- you'll have a MHI 16G for $650ish.

Hello Justin. Thank you for the response...

What I'm afraid is about the quality of the housing and the cover if the ebay ones... How reliable is the turbine housing ?

Damn... I got a rebuilt big 16g with only a thousand miles on it no shaftplay for $220 shipped on ebay, and it even came with the JDM o2 housing, man i lucked out. I am glad i got it when i did, or I would be looking at a big investment. (probably turbonetics 60-1, holset, FP series, pte, GReddy Tseries, garrett... WOW) What a shame.

Whats a JDM o2 housing? an evo3 o2 housing?:hmm:

Even with there price increase on the FP 68hta. I'd still pay for it. Look at the quality and precision that there putting into making theses turbos. I cant speak for the evo 3 16g but the 68hta is well worth the price. Considering what they have invested into research and development for that particular turbo. In my opinion.

CRAP. I just saw evo3 16g's on their site for $999 ! Really...... wow it's better to just get a gt35r locally for the same price.

Current best price I've seen on Evo III 16G's = Extreme PSI.

EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts

It's also listed in their "clearance" section, so I'm not sure what that means as far as inventory is concerned or if they're actually planning on stocking that turbo any longer after current inventory is depleted.
