Million dollar question! Why do some 4G63 heads have two manifold Studs (outter Studs) that are larger then the rest?!

my 1993 N/A head had to be rebuilt (bent valves) and I got another head from a 1994 and the two outter studs are larger for some reason....

Does the TURBO head have two outer exhaust manifold studs that are larger then the rest and the NON turbo have all the same size exhaust manifold studs?

If so that means I have a turbo head on my non turbo? Help please? All the N/A header kits on ebay wont fit because the exhaust manifold studs are all the same size! :hmm:

As far as i know 1g has all same size and 2g has different sizes on the outside.

I would think all 1g head n/t and turbo have the same size bolts.

Well I wish that was the case but my picture shows outer studs larger then the rest. :toobad:
