ok... so i have a 90 fwd nt which i blew and decided to make it fun, i got the bottom end built and a turbo head with turbo cams just to get it running... i am using the nt fuel rail and the intake manifold. I am connecting the tps and it keeps hittin the fuel rail and not letting me put the throttle body on all the way. I know the 1g turbo intake manifold has bigger ports in it or sumthing like that but does anyone know if its longer then the 1g nt meaning does it stick out to the firewall more? Or is the fuel rail different? Has anyone done any swaps like this that would know?

N/A=Lame.. why why why..?? That aside I am assuming your rocking a 2.0nt and your using a na rail and na intake and throttle body.. sounds like you just dont know what you are doing. Beacuse all that stuff...is factory and bolted up before.. hmm..

No..I think that the itm's are the same for turbo and non as far as the 2.0 goes. I think the fuel rail is also the same just different pump. As far as I remeber the only difference between turbo and non is the compression ration and obviously the turbo.

Excuse me, do i know you? No, so keep opinions to yourself. i have a 4G63T 6-bolt out of a awd. I'm guessing u dont know its better to use a N/T (i'll use N/t this time since i guess im moving to fast for people with N/A) for a fully built motor because Non-Turbo blocks have no oil squirters. Go ahead... ask a noob how he would know that. Beat it

For the people who tried helping me solve this annoying problem, I have a N/T intake manifold and fuel rail. Yes, the only thing on the rail that is deif is the fpr and the injectors but there already changed. I am goin to put on a turbo manifold this weekend and see how my reuslts are. Also, i have low compression pistons and a tubro head. The intake manifold and fuel rail are the only original parts from the N/T motor. I also have a ported 1g turbo throttle body.

That made no sense.. you say you have a turbo bolck but have a N/A block. Beacuse it's better? WTF Why would no oil squirters be better?? that just makes no sense? Yes you have higher compression with a na block but the rings n the pistons also si higher and are not intended to see boost. Your just asking for problems if you gonna rock a N/A block.

ok... so I had a non turbo motor in my car until i spun a bearing.... I replaced the block the motor with a turbo bottom end, including turbo pistons and and rods. Im using a turbo head(which is the same as a non turbo head). I am also using a nt intake manifold witch is the same except for lacking a vacuum line. I found out my problem if anyone cares with the fuel rail. Non turbo blocks are better fully built race motors because of the lack of oil squirters, Not quite shore why but thats what keith from ttr uses in his 1g and thats what he told my buddy to use for his car. Oil squirters are just bad. Ill find out the def reason tomorrow and let u know why.

i've heard that from plenty of tuners on here, and outside the forums boards in the dsm world of life. i too have always wondered exactly why its better to use no oil squirters.

about how much is the TB not fitting by?

The tb are different between the two. The n/t tb has no bolt on elbow it just straight and the id is slightly larger the the turbo tb. But the tps are moutned in the same spot on both. Check to make sure you have the fuel rail and injectors seated properly. It should bolt right on without any interferance.
