No more FFOFH and
the alternator is back up front.
And AWD car.
Im surprised about the first two.
Yeah the competition flywheel is in between light and heavy. 12lbs I think.light flywheels suck in these cars. I would use the stock fly over that cc junk. no comparison. there are so many advantages to using heavy I wouldnt know where to start.
I had an act flywheel and no issues at all! Also have an ATE crank pulley to balance it out.I've used the competition, act, and fidanza aluminum. The only one that actually sucked was the fidanza.
The act and competition flywheels are a far cry from fidanza. I ran the act chromoly in the fwd without any issue what so ever!I had an act flywheel and no issues at all! Also have an ATE crank pulley to balance it out.
You have the right to run whatever you deem necessary just like the rest of us. If you happy with your set up then that's all that mattersstock fly is 20lbs or so. heavy, not really. launches fantastic. way easier on clutch lining. shifts better at high rpm. and spools turbo faster. not worth loosing all that for a few hp. 12lbs wouldnt be caught dead on my car. thats feather light for AWD. big mistake.

just trying to help. you are usually pretty perceptive to good knowledge. cars dont launch on engine power. they launch on stored energy in the flywheel. dont believe me. try revving car, shutting ignition off, and popping clutch. you will be amazed if you have the stock fly. and unimpressed with a light fly.
I appreciate the help but I am not new to the bad effects of a light weight flywheel that is why I chose carefully. I ran the act for years and was very pleased with it really saw no need to change from the weight that's all.just trying to help. you are usually pretty perceptive to good knowledge. cars dont launch on engine power. they launch on stored energy in the flywheel. dont believe me. try revving car, shutting ignition off, and popping clutch. you will be amazed if you have the stock fly. and unimpressed with a light fly.
The whole setup looks sick man, its all really clean, mad props, it looks like you definitely put in the time here keep at it man .Love waiting on shipping, should have over-nighted parts from JapanWaiting on the transfer case seals.

Well the first event will be the ga 1/2 Mile September 17th and 18th. Then after that I will definitely get a 1/4 mile run just for the sake.Love waiting on shipping, should have over-nighted parts from Japan
This thing is going to be a monster with AWD. Any ideas on how soon the car will see the track?
