Recently had problems with cuplers to the intercooler piping ripping, replaced all cuplers that needed to be replaced. Also checked for boost leaks by spraying soapy water on all hoses. CEL is on. How do I check for codes? I've changed spark plug wires and one coil, the other posts didnt help, I've tried mostly everthing recomended. When I rev the engine it won't rev past 2000, and it sounds very weak when I try to. Any suggestions I am open too. :banghead:

Most places will do free diagnostics with oil change or if you just ask.

And my car won't rev past 3k rpms now and everytime it does I throw code 0012 for volume air flow circuit malfunction.........MAF sensor

Check your MAF, also check for spark. If you're running on 2 cylinders it wont let you rev past 3-4k tops when you floor it. As everyone stated before, double check your piping, it could be a bad leak.

NO i have dsm link v2.5, dont know to much about it, would the link be able to check codes for me. Ill will get started with all the ideas that was presented to me thanks to all DSM drivers

You can pull codes using ECMLink but you've first got to connect to the ECU with your laptop, your CEL codes are under the DTC tab in Live Settings.

I used a scanner my dad had it gave p0120 throttle/pedal position sensor a circuit ? but my car is a 95 but i put it in as a 96 ? keep the help coming

Sounds like your tps maybe my tps is bad now and it weont let me raise the rpms at all when i it acts up sometimes I can get it to 2000 rpms but it takes work....

Take a voltmeter to the tps sensor and have someone put the throttle all the way down it should read about 5.00v and .63v at 0% throttle

Thanx you guys all the info giving to me was very helpful she running great tps plug was loosing connection

I had the same problem with the engine not reving past 2k specificly. it happened when i was at full boost, the engine backfired and made a loud POP from the engine bay. It so happend that my lower IC piping had come loose and created a massive leak. I repaired the piping and now it revs and runs normal.
