I broke one of the lines while fixing the a/c. Tried to glue it back in but it still broke off. What does this do? Is this somehow connected to the a/c? I started getting idle surge with a/c when the engine gets warm after this broke but my idle is okay with a/c off. There's also another one at the bottom that's plugged.

Edit: Incase someone asks I have a 90 2.0 NT.

I missed this in the manual. Upon checking, this broken piece seems to be the Purge Control Solenoid Valve (based on the diagram from the manual) and the one on the bottom is the EGR Solenoid. I can't find a replacement here for that and upon researching here I can just block off the EGR and completely remove both solenoids and some vacuum lines. Might just do that and hope it fixes my idle surge. I checked my IACV and the resistances are good based on the manual, harness is good as well so I'm thinking this might be the one causing it as I didn't have this before. Appreciate the info!
