1G EGR solenoid ticking?

ok my egr solenoid is ticking:thumbdown can i just unplug the damn thing or do i need to replace it?, and if i do replace it how much would it be i am on a limited budget

ill have to diasagree with you on this....one major reason being that it raises your intake temp and thats never good:thumbdown

and the egr wont give you a cel...at least mine it didnt...ive done the race only setup from taboo site and i get no cel and the logger doesnt show anything
